There's been a lot of dying going around lately.
This time it got Leonard Nimoy.
I don't know why, but for some reason I started listening to that Shatner album Has Been again (really it's a pretty good album). Specifically the song 'You'll have time'. Which is a cool gospel choir style piece about how you and everyone you know is gonna die. Really, it's a fun song. In it Bill remarks 'by the time you hear this, I may well be dead, and you my friend might be next'.
It's funny, I had kind of pictured Bill biting the dust before Leonard.
I don't know where I was going with this. I just kind of wanted to rant about this one weird thing that kept going through my head while I was making this piece.
Godspeed you Mr. Nimoy, humanity's honorary grandpa. I miss you already.
